"On the Way to Work" is a business news podcast program. In 2020, the two hosts, Esther and Tony, had just completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees at the UBC Sauder School of Business in Canada. Despite being in lockdown due to the pandemic, they were eager to continue learning about the U.S. stock market and business knowledge, maintaining their passion for acquiring new insights. As a result, they launched a daily podcast program where they curate and share two to three of the day's top business and U.S. stock market news with their audience.
The renowned S&P 500 Index, in fact, comprises eleven sectors, ranging from energy, utilities, and industrials to healthcare and information technology, among others. "A Day A Stock" is introduced within a ten-minute commute, offering one-minute segments each day. This comprehensive approach allows listeners to gain a deeper understanding of different companies in various industries. After completing this daily calendar over the course of a year, listeners will have a solid foundation of knowledge about the U.S. stock market.
